Eminem and Tattoos
Marshall Eminem Marshall Bruce Eminem known primarily by his
stage name Eminem is a famous rapper, a producer and an actor. He is an
Academy and A Grammy award winner. He is well known for his famous hip
hop pop songs and Shady records. Eminem has great interest towards
tattoos. This is revealed by the number of tattoos he has. Eminem have
tattoos on most parts of his body.
Tattoos: Eminem’s life story can be understood with his
tattoos on his skin. He has ten tattoos on him . Eminem had his tattoos
done by a person named Mr. Cartoon. Mr. Cartoon born in Los Angels is a
number one perfectionist at his job. Eminem’s Tattoos are the greatest
evidence for it. He does tattooing in a particular technique called the
fine line tattooing. He became famous through the great tattoos of
Eminem. Now he is one of the leading tattooists in the world.
Eminem’s Left arm Tattoo: Eminem had a tattoo added recently on
his left arm. The tattoo had his best friends name “Proof”. Eminem got
this tattoo done to dedicate to him who was shot dead on April 11th. He
has the word proof running down from his elbow to the hands.
Stomach Tattoo: Eminem has an open grave with the words “Rot
in pieces” on it as a tattoo on his stomach. This tattoo was done in the
aim of his divorced wife Kim Scott. Marshall went through a great amount
of stress because of his wife Kim due to the arguments between them. Rot
in pieces also refers Kim in an open grave. It has a great deal of
meaning with it and also express the unmanageable pain he was going
across. Lower right arm tattoo: Eminem has a “D” tattooed on
his lower right forearm. “D” stands for his home town Detroit and also
his group the D12 representing “Dirty”. He also has a tattoo on his
wrist saying “Slit me” may be because of the suicidal tendencies that he
had in the past.
 Lower left arm left Arm Tattoo: Number 12 on Eminem’s left
forearm represents “Dozen”. On putting the forearms together we have the
Eminem’s band name “D12”.
Eminem’s wrist tattoo: Eminem has a gothic style bracelet
which he had done when he was drunk. He forgot the original meaning of
the bracelet as he was fully drunk while doing the tattoo. Back of
Lower right arm: You can read Hailie’s name on the back of his
right arm vertically. Eminem had this tattoo drawn when he had his
daughter born. This tattoo is clearly visible on the book cover of the
book “Eminem: Crossing the line” written by Martin Huxley. Upper
Left arm Tattoo: Eminem had a tattoo of his Uncle Ronnie on his
upper left arm. He got this tattoo done in respect of his uncle Ronnie
Pilkington who committed suicide. He was much closer to his uncle as he
was the one who introduced him to the Hip-hop. He also has his lyrics
with Uncle Ronnie’s name . This is really an artistic tattoo.
 Upper
Right arm tattoo: This tattoo has a portrait of her daughter
‘Hailie Jade’ with some red roses around her. It also has Boonnie and
Clyde’s names in words. He has another Hailie’s tattoo on his right
shoulder. It has a picture of Hailie smiling and Bonnie and Clyde
written beneath it. These tattoos reminds us of the great complicity
between father and a daughter. The roses are of course the symbol of
everlasting love to his daughter and family.
These tattoos reflect the love and affection he has towards his
family. Tattoos in some celebrity’s case become as a way to express
their feelings to others.
